converting PST backup files to Thunderbird

Hello!

We are needing to convert all of our existing PST backup files to Thunderbird and still have access to Outlook Express on the same computer as Thunderbird. Can you tell us how to do so?

Older versions of Thunderbird can auto import from Outlook Express providing OE is currently installed and set as default mail client.

Suggest you download an older version eg: 24.0 from here: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/releases/24.0/win32/

choose language prefernce eg: en-GB is English (British)

set up mail account and use the Tools > Import function to either 'import everything' or just 'Mail' then click on next and choose 'Outlook Express' and click on Next.

then you can use 'Help > About thunderbird to update to newer version of TB.
