want to remove "add to taskbar" icon from my search bar

more options

I like keeping my search bar clean. In addition to the Favorites star, now there is a "add tab to taskbar". On occasion (not sure what triggers it to appear) there is also a "Toggle reader view" icon as well. How can I control what symbols appear in my search bar. I only want what I need not what Firefox thinks I need. Dislike this feature.

Chosen solution

No, it should be permanent, unless there's a bug or an obvious mistake.

I had a feeling that the solution would involve changing to "false" since Firefox does not allow its users to have control of such things. In the end there is no way for a FF user to actively control these icons. I thought that making changes in the about:config could be undone with updates. In other words, this is not a permanent solution, right?
