Firefox for Android Community Forum

On my phone I copy a image to the clipboard and can't paste and search in the firefox browser. I got search by image extention but it doesn't seem to work at all. I can hit share on the image and share it with Google browser and search but I like firefox more. Help? I also noticed that other extentions like Gemini doesn't work. Help?

FF has stopped synced. Doesn't respond at all to "Sync now".

Already tried: Signing out/in Clearing cache Uninstalling/reinstalling

Another oddity: when I sign in, I get FOUR "New sign-in" emails.

Ideas, anyone?

I keep having to sign back in this is ridiculous it has erased my bookmarks two or three times I've had to resync them what in the hell is going on I don't need to have to go through two different logins plus the two-step login every time I want to pull up one bookmark this is ridiculous

When something is downloaded a blue dot appears on three dots(menu) indicating that something had been downloaded. It is slightly annoying especially when downloading often and for get rid off that dot I have to go to the downloaded stuff menu.

For some reason, opening the tab list on Firefox and Firefox Beta on Android takes 4+ seconds and it's very annoying.

This is on a completely fresh install of Firefox with literally no changes or tabs. It doesn't matter how many tabs I have. It takes about the same amount of time with 0 tabs or 100. This didn't use to happen with Firefox versions from over a year ago. There's something about the new method that caused this for me.

I'm on Android 10 on a Galaxy Note 9. Nothing else (meaningful) running in the background or anything.

Has anything changed in the ability to export bookmarks either html or csv since the last time question was asked 2 yrs ago, as far as I found? This is ff beta - android - moto power.... I cannot wrap my head around the gymnastics of sync and back up and desktop and yadda yadda that I read about.

I was about to dl 151, move on from this Beta when having to export bookmarks and passwords became a necessity. Anybody have good news to tell me that the technology of bookmarks has improved at least at the same rate of browser development over past 2 years? thank you good luck Happy Memorial Day and to our vets: thank you for your service.

Any progress on this? Import bookmarks is already in Firefox android Nightly — export bookmarks should be just as easy, especially for privacy-first users who can't use Sync.

Just recently Firefox has gotten really slow to open. Sometimes it won't open at all. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it which helped for about 2 tries. I thought it might be a problem with my phone but chrome loads instantly. Once it does open it's slow to go wherever I try to go and sometimes just quits and takes me back to the home screen.

I've noticed that Firefox for Android has become noticeably slower when loading certain websites, while the same pages open quickly in other mobile browsers.

I've already tried:

Clearing the cache Restarting the app Updating Firefox to the latest version

The issue still occurs on both Wi-Fi and mobile data.

Has anyone experienced the same problem? Are there any settings or troubleshooting steps I should try to improve browsing performance on Firefox for Android?

I can't find latest Firefox apk for my android. It only shows play store link. I tried signing up for Gmail account but that requires phone number verification these days. Never in my life was creating a Gmail account so much hard. It doesn't even give option to get code on some other number. The only option it shows is to insert a sim and google will verify itself which is kinda annoying. Please share the latest official Firefox apk link. It's impossible for me to create Gmail account as there is no Sim in my phone.

Hello, I have Firefox for Android 151.0.4 on a Samsung A50 with Android 9. On the SD card of the device I have several pdf files which can be opened with Adobe Acrobat with no problems. Instead, when I go to the device's file manager, move to that SD card, long-tap on one of those pdf files, tap on the three dots to see more options, choose "Open with" and finally select Firefox, I have that Firefox opens with a "File not found" page and the address bar shows, for instance "content://media/external/file/22098" while the pdf file I tried opening is "/SD Card/Test.pdf".

Is it possible to open local pdf files on my device with Firefox for Android? In the positive case, how can I do it in my case?
