Firefox won't connect to this site I just updated it to the newest version. It works on edge, chrome. It says The page isn’t redirecting properly

Why, when I try to go back to a duckduckgo.com page, do I get this message and how do I resolve the issue? What makes duckduckgo a sensitive document? This started recently. I had no issues before.

The only way I can use the Firefox browser is if I disconnect my Firewall on my Macbook with the macOS Sequoia 15.0 installed. On Oct 2 I received an update for my Firefox browser & it solved the problem, however today, Oct 3, the problem has occurred again where I have to disconnect my Firewall. The solution that I use at the moment is to change to another browser (Safari) which is not really what I want. How can I correct this problem or can you help?

Using Firefox I can no longer access my gmail accounts. Instead I am provided the Google Help Center screen advising me to clear cache & cookies. This situation has been my experience since a upgrades to both Windows and Firefox this week. I can only access my gmail accounts via the Microsoft Edge browser now.

Recently there was an update today, Oct 3rd, where after it was completed, I have been unable to open any extra tabs. Everything has to be in a new window. They keyboard shortcuts do not work and I am running out of ideas.

It will crash out randomly and say that there is an issue when submitting the crash report. Closing the window[s] and then trying to reopen Firefox results in a message saying that it's already running, and the old process needs to be closed to open a new window.

If anyone has any advice, I would greatly appreciate it!

This has been going on for about a week now. I use the google chat/messenger portion thats built into the Gmail website.

I can paste pics, drag and drop, etc, it all seems fine. I can see the thumbnail versions in the chat. People can send me as well. The problem is once I click any, it normally puts a small darkening filter over the back ground and then does a fullscreen view of the image. in this case it just loads forever.

If I right click and try to open in a new tab I get an odd Error 403 message, Your client does not have permission to get URL /chat_attachment/ and then a long string of characters.

Ive tried the usual, updated, rebooted, etc. Even in FFox safe mode to rule out extensions. Still not working.

FFox 131.0, Windows 11 23H2.

New version has no refresh window button and no new tab button.

Can you show me how to add a refresh page button? Also, there used to be a tab in the tab bar to make a new tab. How do I get that back? Is this functionality no changing to a plug in? What the heck....

Hi, I got an error code 431 from a website that I used to visit since updating to the newer version 131.0 (64 bit) Firefox on Oct. 1. I tried to clear all the cookies, cache, and reboot the machine, but still get the same error code. Do you have any suggestion how to fix this issue? Thanks.

Please can you tell me how to stop Firefox opening multiple browser pages as I work. As in, when I go from one email address to another, Firefox just opens page after new page causing a lot of confusion.

I want to stop the browser from auto refreshing in some website but it keep auto refresh despite the fact that accessibility.blockautorefresh is marked as "true". In the past it wasn't like that, but someone who used my computer visited the website and clicked on some note from the website and gave it a permission for auto refreshing. I tried to look in the "permissions" of the website but found nothing about auto refreshing. I don't know how to stop those auto refreshing.

I have a Zoom.com account which I use for my home-based business. Within the last week, I suddenly cannot log into that account using Firefox.

but then, the progress spiral starts spinning and I never get logged in.

The verification mode that accompanies the payment page keeps asking me to match images. I do that if the version of the matching image is exactly the same as the one given. However, if the version is different--eyeballs, nose, mouth--then I don't match it. What am I supposed to do to get through this verification mode and make my payment in order to complete my order.

I use TD Easyweb to access my bank information. No matter what changes I make to Firefox settings nearly every page prompts me to 'Manage online experience' and if I go to manage the 'experience' Performance and Targetting are on. I always set them to off but the prompt keeps coming back. I used the same page with Chrome and Edge. Chrome didn't prompt at all. Edge prompted but then seemed to remember my response. This suggests that the issue is with Friefox

And it's only the latest edition of firefox doing this, yesterday it was fine, today I downgraded, and the bug isn't there and silly me thinking all I had to do was donegrade and my problem would be gone... all my bookmarks and stuff vanished because you are telling me i need to make a new profile! THAT IS THE DUMBEST THING EVER. FIX THIS!!!!

Since a few weeks ago, I have had problems with Firefox "hanging" when trying to access Google sites; this includes typing something into the search window on the address bar. Sometimes, changing the URL from "google.com" to "google.co.uk" or vice versa causes the site to load, but not always, and with Google maps, sometimes the site partially loads - e.g. satellite view and some icons missing. I have never seen this on Firefox with non-Google sites, nor on Chrome/Edge with Google sites. I have tried the other suggestions here, such as disabling anti-virus, clearing proxy (not that I use one anyway) etc, and clearing the DNS and HTTP caches, to no avail. I have no relevant extensions. What is particularly strange is that when a URL is not loading, if I open Chrome and type in that same URL, it will load immediately there and also immediately in Firefox (sometimes needing a refresh). I have seen other reports online of similar issues in recent weeks from other users, which makes me feel that it may be related to a recent Firefox update.

I have created and uploaded an extension. Then I have removed that add-on . Initially it was uploaded successfully . But after removal and adding again it shows error. The account used for the same is "ops@mdmail.nl"

since recently, I can't login to any of Protonmail products. Going to their website gives me 400 bad request (Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.). I also can't log in to their Firefox extentions anymore. It used to work before without any problems. And I don't have any problems on other browsers, so I assume it has to have something to do with Firefox. I tried to clear the cache and reinstall Firefox, but it doesn't help. Any idea about how can I fix this? Thank you!
