user reviews don't show on websites when i use firefox
User reviews don't load on websites since the latest Firefox update. They do show when I use IE.
Chosen solution
First, update your Shockwave Flash.http://get.adobe.com/shockwave/
After, Open the Add-ons Manager. Press the <Alt> or <F10> key to bring up the tool bar. Followed by;
Windows; Tools Linux; Edit Mac; application name
Then Add-ons.
Hot key; <Control> (Mac: <Command>) <Shift> A)
On the left side of the page, select Plugins. Check to see if anything is disabled.
BTW; At the top right is a link to check your plugins.

Hello,
Are you facing this problem on particular sites??
Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies do the following:
- Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
- Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
- Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
- From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
- Now click the Clear now button.
Further information can be found in the Clear your cache, history and other personal information in Firefox article.
If you use extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) that can block content (e.g. Adblock Plus, NoScript, Flash Block, Ghostery) then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
Thank you for trying to help me. I'll just use IE as I don't have the problem with that browser.
What is the web site where you have the trouble?
QVC, Macy's, Sears, basically anything where other users can post reviews of products they've bought.
