Today I installed update 92.0.1 (64 bit) on Windows 10. Since then performance has been terrible on everything I do - typing, scrolling, opening a tab, etc, response time is measured in seconds and scrolling is very jerky. Other applications still work normally but Firefox is no longer acceptable.

Disabling hardware acceleration solved the problem. Many thanks.

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Performance is normal in Troubleshoot mode. Curious, since I did not change anything (intentionally) while updating.

That was very good work. Well Done.
