Hello everyone. I can't be the only one with this issue. I'm on a Pixel 5, Android and Firefox for Android both up to date. I can't seem to find a way to block blobs from launching. you know, these videos embedded in some newspaper pages that launch automatically. anyone has a solution?

here's an example of site. it's a big french newspaper. you have to scroll down the page, slowly, until you see the video starting and no way to stop it.

Hello, Recently I encounterd a strange bug wherein I simply cannot open a new tab in Firefox for Android. Everytime I do so, it just resets the same page to the default homepage. Same on both regular and private browsing.

I have gone through the forums and found nothing useful for this situation. So far I've tried: 1. Removing all extensions 2. Completly reinstalling Firefox from both the Play Store and F Droid. 3. Upgrading to the beta and Nightly versions to see if it's just a bug

No luck, I'm honestly stumped as what to do. Currently the jank setup I have is to open some random link in a new tab and then look up what I want in said tab, but this cannot continue.

I'm on a Poco F1, running Android 11 with Firefox for Android v87.0.0-rc.1

To check, clien.net has screen artifacts in almost all cases.

When using Firefox mobile, by default the browser blocks (or tries to block) all pop ups from any site. When this happens on the desktop browser, we have the ability to add that website to a whitelist, thus allowing pop ups to come thru for that specific page. This is not possible on mobile, however. When a page attempts to launch a pop up, two dialogue boxes appear, the first saying:

"This page at 'hyperlink' says: Pop-up blocker is enabled! Please add this site to your exception list."

yet the option to add the page is not present. The second dialogue box the appears, stating:

"Prevent this site from opening a pop-up window?" followed by the hyper link and two buttons, one for allow, and one for deny.

But, clicking "allow" doesn't actually allow or change anything. The page still won't pop-up and further, I can't even copy the displayed hyperlink so that I can paste it in the browser myself. This is extremely frustrating and has prevented me from being able to complete a number of tasks, such as logging into sites using social media accounts and using Paypal's one click check out. Please, either give us the ability to whitelist pages via mobile, or make the "allow" button function properly.

Hey, First of all let me introduce to myself. I was a alltime Chrome user in android then I felt it was getting slower by the day both mobile and desktop then i start trying Several browsers like Brave,Opera, duckduckgo. While using brave I feel same like chrome with no difference. I dont had any privacy concerns so I left it. Then i start using Opera browser. I really like the features of opera Vpn,AdsBlocker, The only issue I felt in opera is constantly crashing while browsing and randomly getting Black or while bar (depends on which theme i am on) on the top of the screen or at the bottom and the browing was ridiculous for me so I left.

Then I start using Firefox and I really like the style and it feels premium quality staff. But I miss some features of Opera which makes my browsing a little disturbing or time consuming. suppose, Refresh: while while browing if i want to refresh the page I have to go to three dot icon and then press refresh button to refresh the page. Why can't I just simply scroll down to refresh or simply put a button on the bottom???

Page switch buttons: 2nd, There is no left right page switching buttons on the bottom why? sometime when my hands get wet my back button does not work then i face some problem. lets think my hands are dry and i can press back button but if i want to go back to previous visited page what will i do??

VPN '''There is No VPN, No Vpn which makes me think why i am here?''' I think those are the preety basic feature everybody wants. thanks..

I'm running version 87.0.0-rc.1 on my phone (Galaxy J7, android version 9). It has 2GB of memory and 16 GB of storage. I'm running AdGuard adblocker add-on, but same issues without that add-on.

I find that Firefox crashes moderately often when showing videos. I ran this one in full-screen mode, and it crashed before it cycled through 10 times.

https://www.google.com/url?q=https://twitter.com/LilySimpson1312/status/1376500968141979653&sa=D&source=hangouts&ust=1618277028064000&usg=AFQjCNFcfUYRMQ4H67yZQM5zHkrXAu_FXw

Also, I find it highly frustrating that when I tap my Android home button while on a web page, and then go immediately back to Firefox, the web page I was viewing does a full refresh, which often requires me to log in again (private viewing). Example web page that refreshes is:

https://getpocket.com/explore?src=ff_android&cdn=0

It seems to me that these both may be related to internal Firefox memory management issues. I have an old phone running Android 7 that has 2.5GB of memory, and it does not seem to have these issues, and it has far fewer other apps running on it.
