Been having an issue with Firefox, where the "A" Key on the keyboard acts as a left click action

I have tried resetting and reinstalling firefox multiple times but it doesnt fix my problem I didnt have the issue before, and I've tested all other browsers and on other apps my desktop and i cant replicate the same issue

I've tried using different keyboards, but it doesnt fix it

This gets pretty annoying as if i leave my mouse on the google icon during a search and type anything involving the letter "a" it clicks on the google icon and sends me back to step 1

I love using firefox, and would love to keep using it, hence why I am regardless of the issue, though life would be much easier with out it xD

Any help appreciated <3

Chosen solution

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Hey fred, thanks for the suggestion, i used troubleshooting mode and it went away

so i went back into normal mode and went through my extensions and found one causing the problem !

It was Autoclick for the youtube "continue watching" pop up

Again mega thanks for resolving my issue :)

Glad to help. Safe Surfing.
