I received a message from Firefox informing me the my computer was slow. I clicked on "refresh Firefox" and my bookmarks were deleted.

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox? Look inside. Look for the folder with the latest creation date.

Thank you for your assistance, FredMcD. I retrieved my bookmarks. I wonder why Mozilla thinks it beneficial to hide my bookmarks after a "refresh."

Normally during a refresh, your bookmarks, passwords, and some other data should be copied to the new profile. But, sometimes this does not happen.
