I recently purchased a 2020 iMac and have found accessing my yahoo mail account cumbersome. Each time I open Firefox, I have to start from scratch to access my yahoo emails (search for yahoo mail sign-in link, enter yahoo email account, enter yahoo password). Incredibly time-consuming and frustrating. On my previous iMac (purchased 2008!), yahoo mail opened immediately when Firefox opened, making it very easy to quickly check my email. I have been unable to reproduce this rapid access route, despite spending a few hours on the phone with Yahoo (which finally gave up and suggested asking Firefox). Bookmark for yahoo mail vanishes when Firefox is closed and then re-opened. Same for top sites. Direct yahoo email access remains only as long as Firefox remains open. I would appreciate help in creating an efficient route from opening Firefox to reading my yahoo emails. Thanks!

I organize bookmarks in folders and sub folders by subject matter.

Is it possible to create a Shortcuts Folder whose entries actually point to folders elsewhere in the bookmarks tree?

It'd be nice if Shortcuts Folder can be in Bookmarks Toolbar

Thank you very much

This morning I started Firefox (78) in Windows 10 Pro (10.0.18363) I got a red message saying that something was wrong with my Bookmarks and click here to fix Did that twice Tried to do a fix that removed and then reinstalled a couple of files (can't find the fix nor the files location) that didn't work although it did replace the files. Still no bookmarks I am logged into my Firefox and synch is on.

This, nor any of the other FAQ/Help have not worked https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/recover-lost-or-missing-bookmarks

I have no restore ability either: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/restore-bookmarks-from-backup-or-move-them

i have no idea what happened thanks for any/all help

Hi,

Recently I noticed this issue:

1. I start Firefox. 2. I click on a bookmark which is on the bookmark toolbar. 3. The page seems to initiate navigation to that bookmark, but eventually stays (it never navigates). 4. I click again on the same bookmark. 5. Then, Firefox navigates to it.

I tried disabling Addons and disabling Hardware Acceleration, but it didn't help to fix the issue. This was suggested in this archived thread: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1245362

A similar issue happens when I'm already in GMail website and then click on another bookmark, but it refreshes the GMail instead of navigating to the other bookmark. (I hope to reproduce it soon and tell you the results.)

Using Ubuntu 18.04.

Problem between Ashampoo Snap and Firefox. I am having troubles with snapshots made with Ashampoo Snap from Firefox outputs. Ashampoo says it is with the latest? Firefox and they have fixed it with a later update. However it has not gone away with the latest Snap. It appears to me (a programmer since 1982) that it might be a with a key sequence that is used to get a Snap copy that is interpreted by Firefox in some way. What happens is that it loook like a list of past usage in Firefox as is found with options History but with more detail as in a snap of part of a usage history made from my last usage of Firefox with more details as you can see. I have not been able to reproduce it in Firefox. Thanks Ron.

Anyone tell me how to just organize my bookmarks by most used... I add new ones and they just knock my most used further down. And, no, I don't want to use folders. The whole point of a bookmark is to save time, not add clicks.
