I want to delete the dropdown "suggestions" for entering web sites on the main screen.
When I begin to key in web site for general web browsing, I see a list of "suggestions" which drops down. I guess I could select from the list, but I do not want to do that. What I would like to do is to go through the alphabet, one letter at a time, and delete the entire list of "suggestions." How can I do that?

hello, please have a look at your prior question, which already contained a few answers that might tackle your issue. in general the location bar pulls its suggestions from your history and bookmarks - so as an alternative to the solutions already described, you could also clear your browsing history to avoid suggestions from it: Settings for privacy, browsing history and do-not-track
