Firefox just won't open
Although Firefox does take a long time to open on my PC; today it didn't open at all. When I tried to uninstall it and reinstall it in both wizards said Firefox was still running. I had the same problem with google chrome a few months ago.

See the details linked from this thread but I think Windows & uses Ctrl Esc Shift to get task manager.

- Kill the process firefox.exe
- try to start in safe mode
- and if necessary rather than a complete reinstall it may be worth deleting the profiles.ini file that will create a default profile that will hopefully work ok. But first of all look at Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles
