the bar at the top where you can maximize, minimize or close has disappeared

I did something - don't know what - so I have to use F11 (full screen) all the time just to get the bar at the bottom with all the icons and the bar at the top that says Mozilla on the left side and has the maximize/minimize/close window icons. and the bar at the top looks different when I do this. I tried some way to restore it and it worked once but next time I logged on it was gone again.

Toggle full screen mode with the F11 key a few times to see if that brings the title bar back.

Open the system menu via Alt+Space and see if you can resize that window.
If that works then close Firefox to save that setting.
