Facebook not loading

I am currently using facebook on firefox on my apple computer (mac os catalina 10.15.7) . It says firefox is up to date. For some reason facebook doesn't open and only a white page shows. I restarted firefox in safe mode and it still does not work. I cleared all history and cleared cookies. I restarted my computer. I am not a computer genius but is there anything else I can do to clear this issue?

Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?


Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

Beginning (IIRC) yesterday, I get a blank page when I first load the FB newsfeed. Clicking the reload button results in the page loading.
