when i fill out forms and hit submit nothing happens

on some websites (Verizon, medicare) when I fill out forms or try to pay I hit the submit/pay/next button on the screen and nothing happens. I have to use internet explorer to use these sites

Hello Check if your FireFox is up-to-date by going to 3 bars> open help menu > about Firefox

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
