After 15.0.1 update all websites now appear as text on left side of screen but appear normal if I set for private browsing I tried deleting and downloading several times, but I want to keep the bookmarks etc. so I did not delete everything and the problem remains. i do not think the problem is in the cookies or bookmarks.

I would like help to search out the particular problem rather than deleting everything and starting from scratch, which would probably fix the problem.

So what is turned off under private browsing? Thanks for your thoughts and consideration. Jack

The disk cache isn't used in Private Browsing mode.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
