url bar opacity
when you start typing in the url there is a drop down showing places you have been but the opacity of it is so dim u cant read it.you see right through it..

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Window Aero transparency is a big problem matched only by Mozilla inflicting the same torment to Windows 7 users.
How to turn disable transparency of Aero Glass and get closer to classic, while maintaining Windows 7 changes. I still have a problem with Alert and text boxes but no problem where you describe.
Steps to turn off transparency in Windows 7 (not perfect)
- Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Personalization
- Pick a Theme or current theme
- at the bottom click on Advanced Windows Color and Appearance
- choose a color, change intensity to about 75% (experiment)
- turn off the transparency checkmark
