Firefox startup page automatically changes to http://www.guaranteedbettingtips.com/promo.php
My firefox's startup page automatically changed to the following address http://www.newversionchecker.com/?redr=www.google.com Now even if i change it back to firefox's default home or any other website like google etc. , it doesn't work ! it automatically changes back to the above address again ! Please somebody help !!!

First of all I'd suggest to check which addons or extensions you got installed. Some addons/extensions change how Firefox behave (i.e. by changing home page) and can make problems. Be sure you have installed/enabled only extensions/addons that you know and use.
Secondly I would suggest you to upgrade Firefox to version 8 - the latest stable. It has many improovements and fixes.

If you use "WebMail Notifier", turn off. End try again (close Firefox).
