a couple of facebook games will not play on firefox (but do on other browsers). the games all use flash, i don't know if that has anything to do with it.

everything is up to date i think

firefox is 4.0.1

adobbe flash 10 active X

adobe flash 10

shockwave flash 10.3.181.14

(i'm not sure which flash firefox uses?)

zeon plus 2.0.0.0

i haven't added anything, no toolbars, anything. malware checks, adware checks, virus checks all come up fine. i did an extra check using that online scanner i double checked using house call, got 0 for results.

i was thinking it couldn't be the flash, but i believe firefox uses a different flash than IE and chrome, is that correct? if so, it could be a flash issue.

if it's not a flash issue, that pretty much eliminates everything else except firefox.

the games run okay on IE and chrome, but you *know* what IE is like, and chrome i could get used to if it didn't FREAKING crash every 10 minutes. sometimes i even have to reboot the computer before it will work again.

the games used to run on firefox just fine. then firefox updated and adobe flash updated, i don't remember if the other flash updated, and *pfft* gone. i tried going back to an earlier version of adobe but firefox got stinky about it and refused to come out and play with me.

i've asked about this before. the response was talk to the maker of the game. i called the maker of the game. they said talk to firefox.

as well as the usual virus/malware etc, i frequently clear cache, delete cookies and history and temp files, and i've done registry cleaning whenever i have issues with something and now and then just to be safe. the program i use is excellent, by the way.

so what do i do? i want my firefox back!!! trying to have two browsers open at the same time for two different things (yeah, multitasking big time) is a nuisance, and like i said, chrome is always crashing, so not having to use it would be nice.
