Google is NOT working on Firefox 3.6.8, suddenly today. You can type in search and get results on initial page. Clicking on 'next' link or any number links is dead. Yahoo & Bing seem to work. I do not have a Google toolbar. Very frustrating. This suddenly happened today. Please check into it.

This solved the problem of Google not working with Firefox 3.6.8!! After trying Google in 'SAFEMODE', I found 'BrandThunder' and 'SurfCanyon' to have been the problem! So my suggestion is to remove any extensions associated with Google.

Extremely happy it was not the extensions I need/like!! Thank you so much for you help! Well done!
