Hi there. I am trying to log into accounts and been asked to provide passwords. Something has changed. Previously if I was to go to a landing page (FT, The Telegraph) it would log in automatically. I do have saved log ins, but there is another issue. The website thinks I am logging in from a new browser, which often means I need to go through a further verification process, for example receiving a text with an authorisation code. I have been through the options multiple times, with no fix. Many thanks, Mark

It seems like the cookies are being deleted, hence why they are needing to put on new ones on every time I restart computer?

Hi, try 3-bar menu > Options > (Privacy & Security) > Cookies and Site Data, and make sure 'Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed' isn't selected.

Hold down the Shift key when you start Firefox to start in Safe Mode. More - Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode.

If it's OK in Safe Mode, disable any theme or extensions you have - 3-bar menu > Add-ons > Themes/Extensions, then restart Firefox; now if it's still OK, re-enable them one by one until you find the culprit. You may need to restart Firefox after enabling some extensions.
