Images in carousel are showing up after a long delay

Greetings!

I'm experiencing some troubles with browsing currently, especially with wordpress based sites. Images in carousels are showing up after a long delay, and for a half of a minute or so all I can see is a grey square instead of photos. Screenshot attached. No issues with thumbnails or icons, just with carousels and slideshows which is strange. Tested via Chrome (74.0.3729.131) and Safari (12.2) - everything works just fine, so it's not the connection. Tried to clear the FF (66.0.5) cache according the guidelines, no success. For additional info, I don't use extra plugins or ad-blockers and in a private window I get the same result. What else should I try?
