When I log into LastPass, and go to Show Matching Sites/Edit, a new tab opens with a gobbledygook address, and the page remains blank.

The web address which is shown is, for example, "moz-extension://a8a47d14-a519-4b4e-a53f-9f4eacb7fb09/tabDialog.html?dialog=site" (without quotes). I am using FF 59.0.2 (64-bit) in Windows 10, with LastPass 4.9.2. I presume that one or both has updated recently, as it all worked fine until a few days ago.

Hi, it is most likely your Kaspersky Protection or WOT please try below : SAFE MODE

In Firefox Safe mode these changes are effective:

  • all extensions are disabled (about:addons)
  • default theme is used (no persona)
  • userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored (chrome folder)
  • default toolbar layout is used (file: localstore-safe.rdf)
  • Javascript JIT compilers are disabled (prefs: javascript.options.*jit)
  • hardware acceleration is disabled (Options > Advanced > General)
  • plugins are not affected
  • preferences are not affected
