Once every couple of days, Firefox chooses to zoom into 300% view. When I return to 100% view, it repeats the zoom to 300%. Only way to stop it is by rebooting. Sometimes, this "feature" then applies it self to my desk top view. Running Windows 7

When and how often does this happen?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

You can check for problems with preferences.

Delete possible user.js and numbered prefs-##.js files and rename/remove the prefs.js file to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in current Firefox releases.

Try to rename/remove the content-prefs.sqlite file in the Firefox profile folder to reset all website specific preferences (Site Preferences).

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
