How neccesary is it to open an accout with Mozilla?
Up till a moment ago, I didn't have an account with Mozilla. I wondered how important it is to have one?

When you first install Firefox, there is a tab encouraging you to create a Firefox Account, which is used for Sync and possibly other services. This article has more information: Access Mozilla Services with a Firefox Account. If none of those services sound interesting to you, then there's no need to create a Firefox Account.
Anyway, your support website account is separate from your Firefox account.

If you mean the account you are using to post this thread, it is only used for this support.mozilla.org site.
