The tabs on my browser break and they dont look as they should.

Not sure whats causing this issue, but you can see they change color and show random squares here and there also.

You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Thanks I will give that a try. I guess its not graphic card related as this happened with my old PC and also with the new one I have now with a much better graphic card and drivers up to date.

I'll try the rest of the possible solutions. Thanks again ;)

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
