I wanted to get google as my home page so I drag the icon to the house picture and it changes when I click yes. Then I go to another site then hit home and up pops slirpy again! How can I delete slirpy? I use firefox 3.6. why can't I just go to tools, options, general, and change it there? the area is faded out where I should be able to click and type.

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
