I asked ChatGPT the following questions, and as a result, I also have some questions for Firefox. Where can I get answers? I do not like the Edge browser for several reasons. Firefox, as far as I am concerned, is the best browser for my use. Due to the fact I reside in Kaliningrad I must use a VPN to access sites I used to take for granted when I lived in the Czech Republic. This morning, as usual, I tried getting connected to VeePN in my Firefox browser. As usual, it does one of the following: 1) “Something went wrong at our end.” & “try to update” or “contact us for assistance.” 2) Continuously refuses to connect, leaving with the message: “Connection Error. Can’t fetch server config.” 3) Connects very soon after opening Firefox, perhaps 5% of the time I try connecting to VeePN. This morning, I spent many attempts over the course of 2+ hours, and no connection. Sometimes I had to refresh the VeePN extension due to the immediate, continuous, fast popups of “Connection Error. Can’t fetch server config.” Then suddenly, without rhyme or reason, VeePN connected. Also, this morning I decided to test using VeePN on my Edge browser, and it immediately connected, with no hesitation. This begs the question. Is there something about Firefox that may be causing the issue? I have not changed any settings anywhere regarding WiFi or Network & Internet Settings. In addition, sometimes, when I tire of trying to get VeePN to connect in Firefox after decades of connection attempts, I will use my Browsec VPN. I have learned not to use two VPNs simultaneously, one or the other, not both. Also, it is worth mentioning that VeePN is far superior to Browsec, but that is my opinion based on how they both perform after being connected for a good period of time. I can be connected via VeePN all day and have no issues. Browsec requires regular refreshing. Either VPN, however, is affected by the internet connection and the wireless connection between my router and the dongle that sits on my desktop near my PC. Yes — based on what you described, this strongly suggests the problem is more related to Firefox itself (or the Firefox extension environment) than to your internet connection or VeePN service overall. I have added an image of all the Firefox Extensions I use, obviously, some in the list are turned off. I am getting the message "updates are disabled by the admin." I am the only one here so I don't know how that happened. I need to install Slack but need to update first. I followed the steps to edit registry but still can't update. Please advise.

Firefox crashed and now my shortcuts have gone and the bookmarks are not easily accessible. I tried importing from the desktop but they are now in a long list and not as they were (in the toolbar. I can't gt the "bookmark summary" showing in the toolbar area.

I know I'm probably not in the right platform to be requesting a feature, but I hope you can add support for this website because I can't do video calls on facebook through firefox and I have to use a different browser to do so. Please add this feature as soon as possible. Thanks!

I would like to ask:

Does DNS over HTTPS introduce additional latency? Are there performance differences between providers? Can corporate or public Wi-Fi networks interfere with DoH requests? Is there a recommended configuration for balancing privacy and performance?

I am using 140 ESR version on linux with Cloudflare's DNS over HTTPS and with DOH active for some reason resolving a domain like d3oklwo3y1bx83.cloudfront.net will resolve to local host IP 127.0.0.1.

I am using firefox about:networking#dnslookuptool to test resolution of the domain d3oklwo3y1bx83.cloudfront.net Both with DOH on and off the resolution remains local host. I tried another browser on the same workstation and I was able to receive a resolution of 13.225.193.203 13.225.193.133 13.225.193.64 13.225.193.58 Why is firefox ESR not able to resolve that domain? What are causes ?

Hi ich habe versucht, die einstellungen zum einem fehlgeschlagenen login mit hilfe von chaptjpt zu verbessern. habe dadurch mein konto verändert. mein password neu erstellt und wiederherstellungsschlüssel ist nich korrekt. auf dem iphone ist alles drauf aber mit dem sekundären email adresse und das password ist auch weg wie kann ich die einstellungen lesezeichen auf den firefox im rechner übertragen?

Firefox runs some sites slows on one of my Windows 10 computers.

I'm running Firefox on 4 Windows PCs and 3 of the 4 work just fine using the same synced profile.

Fidelity.com and Amazon.com are 2 of the sites that are very slow to load. They will eventually load, but clicking on any links causes another slow load.

The same web sites are fast when I use MS Edge.

Troubleshooting steps I've taken (none of which have worked):

• Refreshed Firefox
• Created a new profile
• Uninstalled Firefox leaving my old profile
• Completely uninstalled Firefox and deleted my profile

Any thoughts on troubleshooting steps to take?

The recent update changed how the mute button works in Firefox, before it would replace the icon and would show text and whatnot if it was muted or wanted to autoplay; now it just always shows the mute/unmute button in a tab playing audio. This would normally be fine but it is causing my tabs to constantly be shrinking and expanding whenever the audio changes in a tab, and it's really frustrating me and it feels like an overall far worse user interface design than it was before, even if people were complaining about it. Is there some sort of middle ground where I can set a maximum tab size or something? I know this used to be a feature in about:config but it doesn't exist anymore for some reason. I've also tried using a userChrome CSS code for it that I found online; it got rid of the button but it still made the tab size change and the code I tried using for maximum tab size also didn't affect that. Really starting to frustrate me! Please give me any advice I feel like I've exhausted all my options lol
