All of my bookmarks have disappeared, the instructions to restore did not work.

My mac froze, force quit did not work, unplugged it, turned it back on, all bookmarks were gone and not able to add new ones. Would like to restore old bookmarks and add new ones.

Hi,

Please see Can't add, change or save bookmarks - How to fix. You should also be able to restore bookmarks from backup in case that doesn't happen automatically – see Restore bookmarks from backup or move them to another computer.

Thanks, for your suggestion. What worked was closing firefox and reopening it.
