I recently upgraded my Firefox. Since then I've last all my saved bookmarks and am unable to find them. I'm also unable to add new bookmarks.

I have tried everything to fix this problem. I even did a system restore and it doesn't work. I updated my Firefox yesterday and have lost all my bookmarks. I've tried to add new ones and am having trouble doing that also. I tried your tips on how to fix this and none have worked. Please help.

I'm unable to save bookmarks after the recent update. I feel your pain.

Click TWICE on the golden star (to the right of the URL address window)It will open a dialog that will let you save it and where to save it!

If you see that miserable ORANGE button (upper Left) and want it eliminated so you you can still see the "Normal" look, with File, Edit, View, etc. just right-click somewhere in the space towards the top of the window and check that the "Menu Bar" is ticked - if not, add a tick, and the conventional menu toolbar will appear, while the ORANGE button will automatically disappear!

The ORANGE button is what FF6 thinks will make YOUR life easier - in fact it complicates life for most of us! That's why I stay with IE9, with its manageable problems!
