My Galaxy S24 is continous vibrating (every 0,5s circa) while a video is playing on Firefox for Android Browser. Its embarassing. Can you help me? It is all at the latest version, Android and Firefox. The issue was since months, now i cant ignore it anymore. Greets Kevin

I'm using Galaxy Buds 3 Pro on Firefox youtube, not the youtube app, because I simply enjoy firefox. When I close the screen it stops playing, I pinch the earbud it starts playing after the music finishes playing the browser app crashes. So I installed this extensions and it fixed this issue for me : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-background-play-fix/

So pinching functionality works for play/stop but double pinch for skipping to the next video or song does not work. Also 3 pinch as well for rolling back previous video.

Is this a compatibility issue? If yes can it be done for us to enjoy firefox with galaxy buds 3 pro ?

Last week my collections just disappeared from the home screen of Firefox. I used them as bookmark folders, so now it's quite inconvenient. Is it a bug or a new feature, how do I access my collection in Android?

The previously opaque/white search widget suddenly became transparent and disappears into my home screen. I didn't enable this, but I can't find the setting to make it opaque/white again.

Searched for "widget," "search," "transparen" in about:config, toggled various settings, nothing worked. Looked in secret settings, nothing.

Really bad implementation decision: don't change user's existing UI just because you, or other users, like it and think it's a good idea. Opt in, not opt out.

Hi Mozilla Support, I’m running into a recurring issue on Firefox for Android when watching videos. Whenever I have a video playing in one tab (HLS or DASH streams) and I switch to another tab for a few seconds, returning to the original tab causes Firefox to freeze or reload the page entirely.

What I’ve observed:

The video player freezes or shows a black screen when I return to the tab

Sometimes the tab reloads on its own and the video restarts from the beginning

Happens on both Wi-Fi and mobile data

Tested with multiple streaming sites, including our own (https://xupertvhd.co) app’s web player

Clearing cache and disabling add-ons didn’t resolve it

Using the latest version of Firefox for Android

I’m trying to understand:

Is this a known issue with Firefox’s background tab behavior or media playback engine?

Is there any setting that prevents Firefox from suspending or unloading media tabs?

Would enabling “desktop mode” or changing the media hardware acceleration setting help?

Firefox desktop and Fennec Android are syncing everything perfectly, including tabs from Fennec in Firefeox, except for when I try to view tabs from Firefox in Fennec I get the message: "You don't have any tabs open in Fennec on your other devices".

I have tried to figure out what's causing this and have searched for answers but I can't figure it out. Could anyone suggest what the problem might be please. Appologoes if this is something obvious I've just missed.

Hi When I enter an IP address from my network, Firefox does not connect to my network but instead tries to look up this IP address on the internet. For example, when I enter: 192.168.xxx.yyy/ or http://192.168.xxx.yyy

Je suis bien connectée à mon compte modzilla sur mon pc et mon android. Sur mon pc, j'ai bien récupéré les marques pages de mon android. Par contre sur mon android, je n'ai pas récupéré les marques pages de mon pc... Pouvez vous m'aider s'il-vous-plaît ? Merci

I dont know if it's an issue with a recent update but everytime I open Firefox I get a popup asking me "What do you think about Firefox?"

It consistently happens when I close the app, open it again, and attempt to create a new tab.

Unlike other apps firefox does not stay on. I make notes from websites and firefox is virtually useless on my android tablet.there is no good solution for this other than to set my screen time out to never and changing it back afterwards as it affects other apps also. Extension like caffine does not work on android.

When I click on YouTube comments to read them Firefox mobile pops up a blank window. Works fine if I switch to desktop mode. Android Version 16. Tried reinstalling Firefox. Cleared cache and cookies. Nothing so far has worked.

I have tried logging out and logging back in on my android firefox. accounts.firefox.com shows it is logged in, yet I do not see my firefox on android listed in my "Tabs from other devices"/"Synced tabs", in fact, I do not see any other device tabs listed. On my android firefox, it shows that I am logged in, yet the checkmarks for choosing what I want to sync are all disabled, the sync now button can be clicked but does nothing. I have tried logging out, forced stopping firefox app, and restarting android, nothing worked.
