If you're logged into the account, then all should be well.

If you have not signed into your Mozilla Account for two or more years then it may get scheduled for deletion. They send three email reminders to login to your Mozilla Account before then. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/mozilla-account-deletion-inactivity

What the Mozilla Account is used for as it is very possible to use the Firefox browsers without using a Mozilla Account. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/access-mozilla-services-firefox-account#w_what-services-can-i-use-with-a-mozilla-account
