How do I stop the auto-filling of sites that are not in my history, have no cookies, and are not bookmarked? They still show up auto-filled, when I do not want them to.

The only way I could get it to not auto-fill is by changing the browser.urlbar.autoFill to false on the about:config. But I do want it to auto-fill for other sites that I have, just not 2 particular sites.

Thanks!

Hi rueben.s.88

You can remove the two sites individually without wiping the history or changing anything in the configurations. You can do this by typing the URL (or just part of it) from the Awesome Bar (or the URL bar) then hitting Delete key. You will see that the site will be deleted immediately.

For more information/guide about this step, you may refer to this official Firefox help article Clearing a single item from the Location bar history.

Thank you and I hope that helps.

Use these steps to remove saved (form) data from a drop down list:

  1. Click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop down list
  2. Highlight an entry in the drop down list
  3. Press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to remove it.
