try to load Adobe Reader and it won't go in so I can read attachments with Adobe

I have tried to load Adobe reader. My PDF files won't open and it seems it cannot find Adobe while i am in Firefox. Also have had crashes recently. Don't know why that is either.

What version of Acrobat Reader are you running?

Can you open PDFs if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode
