I just upgraded to Firefox 4 today and tried to go into a site that usually pops up in a new window, but it wouldn't load. Then I saw a little button and tried to fix the problem, but I think I filtered out that entire domain name because none of it will load now. How do I alter the filter now? The button for the filter has disappeared.

i thought firefox 4 itself does not have that sort of filter functions, have you installed some addons for these functions, if you don't know, when firefox main window, presss ctrl-shift-a, to check how you configured for all the addons.

Did you block images?

See:

  • Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in Tools > Page Info > Permissions
  • Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
  • Check the exceptions in Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions
  • Check the "Tools > Page Info > Media" tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images)

There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) that can block images.
