My page "up" and "down" keys do not work on any web pages

Have Firefox 3.6.13. My page up and page down keys do not work on any web pages, including the start page. If I open Internet Explorer, the keys do not work on the Yahoo start page but they will work on any other web page.

You may have inadvertently turned on the Caret browsing mode. Hit F7 and see if the up / down arrow keys work.
