When I send email with an attachment (not very large attachment) it takes forever and then I eventually get a message back that the out going server has timed out and the message is then automatically saved in my Draft folder. However, it seems the message and attachment are actually sent and received by the recipient. Is the system not recognizing that the message is complete and just stays in the send mode until the server times out?

Chosen solution

have you tried the old and sure method of disabling the antivirus outgoing mail scanner. That is the most common cause of outgoing mail timeouts.
