Menu button does not work

more options

I am running Linux Mint 18.3 kde and when I open up Firefox and click the menu button in the upper right hand corner, nothing happens. It looks like the button stays depressed however it doesn't actually do anything. After I click it again, the button unpresses. This is very frustrating and I'm hoping somebody can offer some advice on fixing this issue.

So far I have tried restarting Firefox with no add-ons and starting in safe mode, neither have worked.

Thanks
