I have several folders and subfolders in my bookmarks menu. I saved a book mark, but to which folder/subfolder? How do I search my bookmarks for it?

Hi, it is in the 3 Bar Menu --> Library --> Bookmarks --> Search Bookmarks

Or you can turn on the Firefox Menu Bar by mousing to the top of the browser to a empty spot and Right Click and Check Menu Bar to turn on. You then just click Bookmarks --> Search Bookmarks

Or 3 Bar Menu --> Library --> Bookmarks --> Bookmarking Tools --> Open Side Bar then bookmarks are visible to the side with a search box.

The first two methods are a partial solution. Although I found the bookmark I still could not find where it was located, but did enable me to open it and rebookmark it to where I originally wanted it to go. (now I have it bookmarked twice, once where I originally intended it to be and still who knows where?, repeating the search shows two bookmarks now).

The second method is slightly different in my configuration, Bookmarks > Show all bookmarks which brings up a separate window with a search option.

The third option only shows what i already see when I select bookmarks in the top brower menu, so is not a solution.

This is PATHETIC that Mozilla REFUSES to respond to what has been FUBAR in Firefox DAY ONE.

THEY WON'T EVEN WRITE UP A TUTORIAL HOW TO USE SQLite or whatever to find folders.

Somehow folders get misplaced by dragging into another folder. The misplaced folder often has many sub-folders. My entire "Graphics" folder has been misplaced so all of my folders and bookmarks about CAD, Illiustration and such cannot be found and used.

Hi, Volunteer Support are users like you can not do anything in what you request for Tutorials if they are not already out there. But you can either from the 3 Bar menu --> Help --> Submit Feedback or from here : To submit suggestions for new or changed features, may I suggest: Feedback: https://qsurvey.mozilla.com/s3/FirefoxInput/ Which will be reviewed by a specialized team.

SQLite info can be Googled as it is not a Firefox product though it is in use.

Sorry to hear missing a folder.

When you find a bookmark you can drag it any where else you would like it so yes if you dragged it to the wrong place it can appear to be missing.

You might want to give this a try as it seems the best fit for what you are trying to do :
