I want only my home page to open when I click on a new tab, instead the stupid ASK search program opens every time I click on a new tab and I can't get rid of it. How do I fix it?

I would draw your attention to the final part of the article in respect of more in depth problems if you cannot immediately fix it.

Hi, also try working through Remove Ask Toolbar and Ask.com Search (Uninstall Guide) by Malware Tips.

Note that not all removal programs will detect all malware, so you may need to run several or all of them.

After removal you may need to reset your home page, new tab, search etc., which you can do by running the add-on SearchReset.
