Can I get rid of the search bar on the "New Tab" tab?

Title pretty much sums it up. Since the newest update when I open a New Tab there is now a search bar, I already have one in my toolbars so this is unnecessary. So is there any way I can remove it?

Install Stylish - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/stylish/

Then install this UserStyle - https://userstyles.org/styles/103765/fx-31-about-newtab-hide-the-search-bar
