Transferring .URL addresses to bookmarks in Firefox and vice versa
I am trying to transfer a number of .URL addresses held in aUGREEN NAS over to bookmarks held within Firefox so that those URLs can be quickly opened using Firefox Windows Explorer or a similar file manager in an Android Notepad or indeed another browser. The URLs already in folders in the NAS drive and it would be great if we could replicate the NAS drive folders within Firefox.. Is there a simple way of doing this?

There isn’t a direct way to import a folder full of Windows .URL files into Firefox as bookmarks while keeping the same folder structure. Firefox’s bookmark importer works with an HTML bookmark file, and that format can preserve folders.
For a small number of .URL files, you could add them manually. If you have a lot of them, I’d convert the .URL files into a bookmarks HTML file first, keeping the NAS folders as bookmark folders, and then import that HTML file into Firefox. That would also let you keep the same organization rather than rebuilding all the folders by hand.
