I don't like how my unread spam folder count is combined with my unread inbox folder count. Is there a way to only show unread inbox count? I would like the spam folder count separate from the overall notifications count.

A google workspace account I used to use has been deleted on google. I want to keep my repository of emails for that account. I have tried to tell tbird NOT to poll any servers re this account, but I think it still does.

For that account in server settings: - check for new messages at startup is off - check for new messages every x minutes is off - allow immediate server notifications when new messages arrive is off

I remove the SMTP setting for that account entirely.

The error message mostly shows up when I've switched from say Sent to Inbox. At those times I am not even looking at that accounts messages, there are other active accounts. The exact message is: Authentication failure when connecting to server imap.gmail.com I can't be positive that it is related to this now gone account that I still keep in thunderbird, but the issue did start when the account went inactive.

Wireless cursor just gone after this last update. Changed the battery and all the usual tap, blow on it, no luck. Purchased a new mouse from amazon and no improvement. I found an article to fix this but cannot find what they refer to or understand the names used. I am just there saying, the what? go were?

I have dealt with this tiny font problem before but did not retain the fix because I actually thought I had solved the problem once and for all.

BUT, I wake up this morning, having made no changes to this laptop overnight, only to discover that the fonts on my Firefox browser controls are tiny tiny tiny.

I expect Firefox/Mozilla to resolve this LONG-STANDING problem once and for all. I have made no changes to this browser in the last 24 hours. There were two MS updates that occurred overnight, but I doubt this affected the fonts on the Firefox application.

If there is a straightforward FF/Mozilla doc that addresses this problem (since it is recurring and well documented by others over the years), I would appreciate a link to this document. And if there is a known problem with certain MS updates I would appreciate knowing about this as well.

The Video Downloadhelper that I have in my computer is active when I open my Firefox browser. When I switch or open the YouTube tab, the icon becomes inactive and I cannot download any music from YouTube. What can I do and is there any solution for this?

I continually receive this request for access to an account that is not one I have added to Thunderbird. How can I delete this email account and stop these annoying repetitive notices???

Firefox won't let me add credit card info. The "SAVE" button just set there and nothing happens. I'm on FreeBSD 14.1 and I'm using Firefox 131.0. It also would auto-fill the credit card info, but when I clicked on it. It went blank.

Running 132B3 the speaker icon besides the favicon to indicate playback in the tab is missing ever since updating to 132 first (see attached image). On 131 it was a speaker icon which you could use to mute/unmute tabs which showed up when audio or video was playing.

Compact density, title bar and menu bar is enabled along with Simple white by Moomin-theme and an added userChrome.css which can be seen here: https://pastebin.com/cLt2bSnR Along with a few changed preferences in about:config but those probably won't matter in this case?

Guess it's missing additional stuff in userChrome.css to get it working as before again? Or were the icons pulled from Firefox itself so the problem is accessing/referencing to them in the first place, hence why it's an empty circle now?

On Reddit a hover override from https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1338919 was suggested but adding that didn't change the icons' behaviour unfortunately. Hovering over with the mouse cursor manually just fills out the circle with black.

Any help in the matter is appreciated, best regards!

Edit - Solved it with the help of another user, had to replace parts of the original .css with an override from another thread (https://support.mozilla.org/ml/questions/1338919 at the bottom). Looks a bit different now but that's fine.

Why have you blocked Newsmax.com from my computer ? It was fine until a few minutes ago and now I cannot access it. I want it back up as I have had it on for years. thank you, Don Warner -

This is such a non issue I know, but firefox recently updated for me and that update set the search bar on the bottom of the screen which I utterly HATE. Is there anyway to get it back to the top ? Either via extension or is there a setting for it?

At the bottom of each 'card' for an email in 'card view', there's an entire like of empty space. Given that each card is only three lines high, that means 1/3rd of it is wasted and my display view for emails shows only 66% of the emails it could. That is not helpful.

Is there any way to get rid of that giant empty line?

I can't find sometimes very important replies to my emails because they are filed not in the chronological order in which they arrive in my computer but are connected in the group of the original Subject. How can I change that? Thank you. Email removed PS. I use Win11

I use a Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS with Firefox 131.0 64 bit edition. When I start Firefox alt+tab working as designed. But after some time it is not. Firefox always became the first of the list of the running applications and a simple alt+tab do nothing because the second application of the list which is selected by a simple alt+tab became the application I actually used. Ta active application selected again. Do you have any idea why is it happening?

Just recently I discovered the option "Prefer display name over message header" (German: Anzeigenamen statt Namen aus Kopfzeile der Nachricht verwenden) in the TB addressbook entries, but after upgrading from V115 to V128 the option has vanished.

Is there a substitute or is this a bug that will be fixed soon?

Within the past week, when I access my AOL mail inbox, there has been a message asking if I want to make Firefox the default for AOL mail. See attached screen shots. Where did this come from? Is it something that FF did, or AOL mail, or an extension, or W11? FF is my default browser. Can I disable the message or what else should I do? So far the only thing I've done is to "say later" I look forward to anyone's comments. Thanks
