I recently purchased a new HP laptop to replace my old laptop. On the old laptop I used Firefox as my default browser. I do not care for Chrome or Microsoft Edge. On my old computer I had installed Trend Micro Toolbar on my Firefox browser and loved the protection it gave me on the web. However, since I purchased my new HP laptop I have been unsuccessful adding Trend Micro Toolbar, so I have had to settle for using Chrome. Can you please advise me how to add Trend Micro Toolbar to my Firefox browser?

Onshape starts ok and displays all page toolbars and the graphics correctly for around 3 to 7 seconds then it all goes blank for several seconds and then only the toolbars etc return. The graphics for the model disappears along with the camera view which shows where the model is in x y and z and also the camera does not move with the right mouse button pressed. See pics below:

It also happens in all web pages but the data comes back, Onshape is the only cloud based App I am currently trying to use. I did install a Xerox print service recently and that needed a .NET update (3.5), after that these problems started. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox from the Mozilla site which cured the problem at the time but it has since returned.

I want to make list of sites where i can off pop-up search bar. On some sites you can use custom hot keys (like youtube), but hot keys won`t work because your keys registering to pop-up search bar instead site, so it will be good idea to make exclusion list, like in addon "Dark Reader".

Can one change the colour of one firefox window to distinguish it from another firefox window? That would allow two people working on the same computer to use individual firefox windows and be able to quickly tell whether they are in the right window.

Hi. I need to know how to make sure I can get to safe/legit (I have an account and a password that I set up myself) sites without getting blocked by Firefox all the time. Any recommendations? Thank you.

This morning this was at the top of my screen when I logged into my computer. "For quick access, place your bookmarks here on the bookmarks toolbar. Manage bookmarks..."

I did click on it however nothing happened or so I thought. I later go to the upper right hamburger and click on it and go to the bookmark tab only to find all my bookmarks are gone.

Can anyone tell me how to get them back since that is my quick access to my business sites? Is there a way to find them or are they just gone?

I cannot get the tab to stay out so I can take a screen shot. Sorry.

Please help me to open Thunderbird. All of my critical communication is there. Ecentral.com is my email. Thunderbird has not responded since a Windows update on 01/20/26. Should I uninstall that update?

When I try to download a statement from my bank I just get a blank page pop up. This used to work with Firefox and it works OK with Chrome. What has changed ...or is there a Firefox setting that is wrong?

Recently i added some bookmarks in a dedicated folder. Afterwards i don't see the bookmark in that folder. Hoever if i click on "Search bookmarks" and enter its name the bookmark is listed. If i then rightclick on it and select "Show in folder", the bookmark is shown in the correct folder. What is wrong ? Thanks

The 29. january I got no sound when streeming video from Firefox. I checked the situation with VLC, another media player, which had no problems with the sound. I opened Windows "sound control settings" and chose to send the sound to the monitor (HDMI). Then I got sound from Firefox. When I sent the sound back to the original device, which is an USB Audio DAC, because I use an external amplifier, and my PC doesn't have the SP/DIF output. Again there were no sound from Firefox, but sound from VLC. In addition I started Microsoft Edge, and got sound! Which means that the problem is only with Firefox.

Then I checked the time for the last Firefox update. It was january 28, the day before (or it could have been the same day), and the new version was: 147.0.2. That made me beleive that the cause of the problem was the software update. What else could have caused this problem ?

I do not know how to fix this problem. I need help, otherwise I have to quit using Firefox, which I have been using for a decade without any problems. I am using Windows 11.

I am enjoying the easier profile management with the new profile system, and I am using it currently for splitting personal / work usage. I was just wondering if it is possible to set 'Choose a profile when Firefox opens' to always apply when running a Firefox shortcut, not just when Firefox is not currently running (similar to Chrome's 'New Window' option)?

seit einigen Updatesversucht das System verschiedene Webseiten ohne Erfolg zu öffnen. Es erscheint keine Fehlermeldung, auch kein Abbruch wegen Zeitüberschreitung oder der Hinweis, dass der Server nicht erreichbar ist.

My local newspaper has gone only digital, which I actually like. But, there is an option on the bottom of the reader that is available when using Edge and is not available when I use Firefox. A mouseOver on Edge displays "Print or clip". Yes, it's a snipping tool and/or print option. But it really right-sizes the snipped area perfectly for printing crossword puzzles. The Windows snipping tool (Windows 11) makes it too small so I need to go to Edge for only this one task. My first preference would be to get the function on the Firefox screen, and my second choice would be to figure out how to use the Windows snipping tool to print without leaving Firefox. Facebook videos in Firefox stop playing when clicking the Windows 11 Start button or opening Solitaire (after recent update)

This issue has just started after a Windows 11 update and restart. It has never happened before. I usually watch Facebook Reels while playing Solitaire at the same time — yes, I know, I don’t have a life.

This morning, after the update and restart, I opened Facebook and started watching a Reel as normal. As soon as I clicked the Windows Start button to open the list of programs, the video stopped. I then selected Solitaire, which opened to the taskbar. I restarted the video, clicked Solitaire to open the game fully, and the video stopped again. As soon as I minimize Solitaire, the video resumes playing.

I’ve tried all the suggestions I could find via Google, but nothing has worked so far. Note that this only affects videos playing directly on Facebook — videos playing in the Windows Media Player Legacy video player itself are not affected.

More info... I run two monitors and it seem if I click on whatever I have open in the second monitor the FB video stops. So something has changed after I turned my computer on this morning and updated Windows. I even did a System Restore to a setting two days before this new update and nothing changed still have the problem.
