I have a new Windows 11 computer and installed Thunderbird. Whenever I try to insert an image there is no option to do so. I was able to do this on my Windows 10 machine but not on this new Windows 11 machine. I went into settings and in the Composition section, under Sending Format, I did have it set to Automatic but changed it to Only HTML. In the Write message, in the Options menu, there is no insert image or anything. On my Windows 10 machine, there was an Insert for images and tables etc. On my Windows 11 machine, none of those options are available. How can they be missing? I don't want to send my image as an attachment, I want to insert it to the body of the message.

Any ideas as to how I can get the insert options in Thunderbird?

Hello, I have three profiles, and then a large number of sub folders in Local Folders. I would like to know how to transfer these Local Folders to Outlook. the profiles and their emails have all been transferred successfully.

After thoroughly searching this database, I could not locate an answer to the issue I am facing, although there seem to have been several similar cases.

My former university has recently decided to delete alumni email accounts, so I am using Thunderbird for email transferring from university to GMail (added both accounts to Thunderbird and then began copying emails and folders). Transfer is slow, depending on the server capabilities etc., but I am going folder by folder and so far it has been fine. I began the transfers a week ago.

Last night I noticed my Thunderbird inbox for my school is not showing anymore. The profile folder is only showing one file (.msf) for Inbox, instead of what should be, in my understanding, two files.

Thunderbird is still communicating well with the university email server because I made a folder rearrangement on the university webmail service (outlook.com) and it showed on Thunderbird. In addition, all my Inbox emails appear fine on the university webmail service (outlook.com).

Any ideas? This is obviously important and urgent.

For 2 years have been trying to get Thunderbird to access my mail from The Messaging Co. My old Win 10 laptop has no problem. My new win 11 laptop won't. I have configured the servers over and over but everytime I try to access Thunderbird I get "could not connect to mail server: the connection was refused". Who is refusing the connection? And why? I have re-downloaded Thunderbird several times but the problem persists. I am using Firefox. And using the in and out servers as per my win 10 laptop.

I have spent most of two days trying to Thunderbird to send email. It has worked perfectly for years. Suddenly, emails end up in Sent folder but go nowhere. My email host service sees nothing wrong. I can send emails through webmail and usually through Outlook. I have spent most of the day getting coached by Copilot and I am quite sure I have all the settings the way that worked flawlessly until two weeks ago. Is Thunderbird just dead and I need to go to Outlook?

Whenever I create an event in the calendar, Thunderbird creates it in the "Task calendar" and I want it in my other, email named calendar. Can this behavior be changed? It's so frustrating because I have to edit the event and all the attendees get a second notice. Thank you

When I try to add my Spectrum email back in Thunderbird, it failing to connect when I enter my password. When I go to spectrum.net, I have no trouble logging in with my password. Whaat do I need to do to add my Spectrum email.

I tried transferring TB to new computer, nothing has worked. w11 TB148. Manually didn't work, tried coping from Troubleshooting Information/profiles. I don't know why there are 2 TB's? Under local and roaming but I tried. The video is out of date. It's a new install of TB so it opens with create account, both computers W11 and TG148! Please somebody tell me what I'm doing wrong? When Thunderbird is started maximized it overlap taskbar if is set to hide and taskbar won't show until Thunderbird is minimized and maximized. Another way is to press the Win key two times. Then the hided taskbar can be shown/use. The same thing happens to Firefox. Only when is first started. Then if Firefox is minimized and maximized, press Win key two times, press F11 two times then the hided taskbar show/hide normal.

It is a setting that can be changed to start Thunderbird and Firefox in full screen and do not overlap hided taskbar?

I was wondering if someone could assist me in standardizing email signatures when sending a new email, and replying to an email. Let me elaborate a little bit...

When I compose a new email, my signature comes out like what you see in the `composing.jpg` attachment.

When I reply to an email, my signature comes out like what you see in the `replies.jpg` attachment.

I appreciate any assistance someone can provide, and guide me to the best way of standardizing these bad boys.

Bonjour, j'utilise Thunderbird sur MacBook M3, MacOs Tahoe 26.2, sur Thunderbird j'ai 3 comptes messagerie .bbox et un compte .gmail dans le dossier envoyés de chacun de ces comptes ne figurent QUE les messages envoyés du mois en cours ou du mois précédent si aucun message n'a été envoyé le mois en cours aucuns des messages envoyés auparavant ne s'y trouvent. Tous les comptes sont en mode IMAP J'ai vérifié les dossiers sélectionnés dans les paramètres des différents comptes et le dossier envoyés est bien coché dans chacun la méthode d'identification est bien Oauth2 pour tous... Le problème étant présent sur les 4 messageries et pas seulement sur la messagerie gmail il me semble que ce soit un problème de paramétrage Thunderbird... Merci de vos retours

After I snooze or dismiss a calendar popup (usually from my Google calendar that I have integrated into Thunderbird) the same popup window stays up, but completely blank.

Other times, a blank calendar popup just appears. I think that may be what ought to be the snoozed popups after the snooze period.

How to fix? Thanks.

P.S. I asked ChatGPT this and it gave me some suggestions which either didn't fix it or sounded too scary to try.
