Alt+D not working in FF 153.0.1 (64-bit)

None of the topics seemed to match my issue so I selected "Browse".

In FF 153.0.1 on W11 64-bit, after Firefox updated to the latest version my Alt+D does not work. Ctrl+L still works. In Incongnito, Alt+D DOES work. However, in regular browsing it does not work, even after I have disabled all of my extensions. I don't know why it's not working or what I could do from my end to try to get it working.

There is a theory in bugzilla.mozilla.org/2050947 that it's linked to an update panel — is it possible that your "broken" window has or had one of these popups shown, and after closing it out you can no longer use the shortcut? Thanks for the details.

It seems to happen intermittently, sometimes I find it is working and sometimes not, but when it happens (95% of the time) it happens across all windows/tabs and doesn't seem related to any popups. This is incredibly frustrating, there's nothing really special about my setup as far as I can tell. I will probably just make the hard Switch to Chrome since Firefox can't get it together. RIP Firefox.

It's easy: If you check for any updates, is there an update available? If so, install it, and the issue will disappear for now. (Next time it happens, check again if there's an update. If yes, let it update.)
