I just created a new email account in Thunderbird. I've used T-bird for 15 years. Normally, when I highlight an inbox email and then press the keyboard "Delete" key, the message is sent to Trash. But on this new account, when I press Delete key, the message briefly disappears, but then comes back into my Inbox. It doesn't go to Trash.

I checked the Server setup and confirmed it is setup to move Deleted email to "Trash on xxx@xxxx.com"

I am flowing emails from Yahoo Mail into Thunderbird 128.13 on a Mac M3 in macOS Tahoe 26.1. Suddenly some Thunderbird folder names are greyed out and italicized, plus I seem to be missing emails in those folders. I've tried correcting it but cannot find anything that makes a difference, so where are my questions: Why does that happen? How can I correct it? Where are my missing emails? Hello, i created new folders in different mail accounts. but they are not visible. i checked the subscribe menu . the folders are visible and checked there. but still not visible if i left the menu. searching for the mail shows a result and the subfolder location. i can open the mail.

Gjelder epost beta. Hvorfor får dere ikke til slik at vi brukere kan for andre navn på mapper. Skal du lagre en epost fra innboksen til mappe, så kommer det opp andre mapper/navn. Kunne gjerne se bare navnet på mappen og ikke med andre mapper/navn på mappene. Redigere navn på mappen hadde hvert greit. Ellers fungere epost veldig greit.

Thunderbird stopped working today. It won't download any messages, it wants me to enter a new password. I have the correct password and can log into my mail on wowway.net I did not touch anything, it just stopped working. All the POP settings are correct per wowway website. Should I uninstall it? It seems a new update was released on 11-12. When I opened it on 11-13, it didn't work. Please help. redacted@gmail.com

Downloaded Thunderbird in Kubuntu. Transferred my yahoo mail account, can see and open the emails in the local folders but can not move email to any folder but trash out of inbox

I have had a recurring problem of emails that have been read and moved into a folder for organization/safe keeping purposes being marked as unread again. This seems to be totally random as far as I can tell and we are talking about hundreds of emails. This might also be emails in my sent folder. I've just been selecting them and marking them as read, but this has been going on for months. It's not all the emails in that folder either, just some. I don't get it! Can you help?

I ordered some batteries from Amazon on 15/12/2024, 17:23. I presume they arrived, and I subsequently deleted the email. It has suddenly reappeared in my Unified inbox today, but not in any of the inboxes of the Unified Folders.

I am curious as to what caused this.
