Re Firefox Interface

more options

Is there any person out there whether from the FF Staff, Developers, Community or End-Users who know how to resize the latest grotesque FF Interface of the latest download version 136.0.1? All my extensions have disappeared. The side bar is too wide. Both the Tools and Menu bars are grotesquely wide.

What is the point in Mozilla FF asking for Feedback End-Users, Community, to Contribute. if it is not going to take on board their views?

Please, do not leave this matter just to the public to deal with, You FF should deal with it for it is your product.

If you can't provide screenshots of the error how do you expect other users to know the problems?

What screenshots do you want to have so as to understand the problems? Don't you know what FF Interface is, in particular this latest FF 136.0.1? I presume you have the same FF 136.0.1 as I have. Unless of course you do not have eyes to see, or you are probably a newbie to FF, the Tools/Search and Extension bars, which are horizontal, are too wide and far away from the Menu bar. The side/column bar is also too wide. You don't see that? These cannot be adjusted by an ordinary End-user like me. As a result there is not much space in the main page irrespective of Zoom. Here Zoom only works for text.

If you still do not understand, compare FF 86.0.2 and 90.0.2 versions to this current version FF 136.0.1. I stayed on FF 86.0.2 for a very long time before changing to FF 90.0.2, where I also stayed long until now that I have FF 136.0.1. Please do have a bit of visual imagination and thinking. It's not answer to problems that should be by screenshots. The Interface of this version FF 136.0.1 is not only peculiar to me as evidence of many users' articles on the site. In spite of my observations about you, and for your sake I included a screenshot. I hope this helps you and others come up with a solution for this grotesque FF 136.0.1 Interface.

Thank you for the screenshot. Can you enter about:config in the address bar and paste here the value of the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx preference?

The text on your toolbars is surprisingly small compared with the site icons/buttons. Is it possible some userChrome.css rules carried forward in your profile from years past? If so, they may need some updating, or you could test temporarily in Troubleshoot Mode to see whether this problem persists with just the built-in style rules. Ref. Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode.

Judging from the height of your tabs relative to the site icons, your Firefox might be set to "Touch" density instead of regular density. There is a Density selector on the bottom of the Customize panel. I suggest checking that to make sure it on Normal. It's also possible to use a more compact density but there's an extra step to enable it.

Comparison screenshot attached for reference.

Dear Tydranlu

Here is what you have asked for:

layout.css.devPixelsPerPx -1.0

I hope this value would help solve the problems of the Interface I have described.

Thank you.
