did a system restore then when firefox came all my bookmarks were gone i have worked for hours trying to get them back please help that was 2 years of work
Had a trojan virus that got in on some program that that up dated had to do a system restore have done it in the past and firefox always keep my bookmarks restored this time firefox lost about 2 years worth of bookmarks i have been working on it for 3 hours now trying every thing to get my bookmarks back and no success so far hope some where someone out there has an answer that can restore my bookmarks and so you know i have McAFee AntiVirus protection that caught the trojan and clobered it right as it was comeing in put it where it can do no harm if you need to contact me you can at the email i gave mozilla SUPPORT { i want to thank all the helpers that do this on here just to help other's like them selves } and do it for free got to have big hearts to give of their free time

Hi, first try restarting Firefox - 3-bar menu > Exit Firefox in bottom right corner.
If that doesn't help, and in case a refresh has occurred, please look on your Desktop for a file named Old Firefox Data - Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings.
If the file isn't there, you can try this: Open bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import and Backup > Restore, and see if you have a backup there.
