Facebook says that my java script is diabled?
Hi,
First off I LOVE MOZILLA, BUT AM BECOMING INCREASINGLY FRUSTRATED!! When I try to log into facebook it starts to log me in and then jumps to Javascript is disabled on your browser. Please enable JavaScript or upgrade to a Javascript-capable browser to use Facebook. Alternativly, you can access the mobile version of Facebook here.Okay I have checked and double checked and read everything that I can get my hands on! I have tried to take care of this myself, but am having no luck! I have had to start using Google Chrome, which I don't really care for cuz it has more problems crashing everytime I start something new!!! UUGGHH!!!!
So now I'm contemplating using Safari? I am addicted to facebook games and I just want to play them without pulling my hair out on a daily bases!! PLEASE HELP!!!!

"Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

I did clear all the cookies and cache like you said to do in your post. I tried to start my firefox in safe mode. That did not help. I went to the homepage of firefox and it still says that I have my java disabled! Ugh! I have disabled and enable all plug-ins. I have uninstalled/reinstalled all my adobe, and javascripts. My plug-in check says everything is up to date and running properly.
I did however get to facebook threw an email from facebook, it let me login. I can play a few of the games, and it does run smoother, with out as many disruptions ( non responsive pages) but I have no newsfeed or I can not send out request or receive them. Gosh I just want to play my games with out any hassle! I have tried everything and anything, but still no success!
If anyone has any tips or trick or fixes, I'm willing to give it a try. I did try to go an install a older version of Mozilla, but they say that they will not support the older versions any longer. FRUSTRATED!!!!with Facebook/Firefox!
